Daffodil Shawl.

Daffodil Shawl.

Springtime daffodils adorn this wonderfully soft, yellow to green gradient shawl. Hand-knit in a gorgeous Merino and silk yarn, this shawl drapes beautifully across your shoulders, its cheery yellow and green color, catches the eye of all who see it. You’ll be no wallflower wearing this shawl!

Notes on project:

It’s springtime year round with this cheerful yellow and green gradient Daffodil shawl. I absolutely love daffodils and when I saw this tea cloth pattern, I knew it would be a gorgeous shawl if knit in a half-round. Love how it came out.

I custom ordered a stunning cool yellow to green gradient from my favorite yarn colorist, Moonlight Yarns. Helen did a superb job dying the gradients and I had no problems with blending the colors as I knit. I did have a few minor mistakes and needed to backtrack a few times to fix them, making this a much longer knit than before. Still, I love how the gradient worked in this pattern.

Color: Cool yellow to green gradient.
Size: One size (S – XL).  Measures: 62″ wide by 28″ long.
Material: 50% extra fine Merino, 50% silk.
Hand wash – Lay flat, or dry clean.
