In the Store: Celtic Dragon shawl

Celtic Dragon shawl.

Twisting cables and Celtic knots turn this Merino, cashmere and silk yarn into a wondrous Celtic Dragon shawl. The half-round shape recreates the dragon’s wings, the cable spires its intricate framework that allows flight. Who wouldn’t want to wrap themselves in the mysteries of dragon flight?

Notes on project

This project was an experiment in blending three separate patterns together to see if they would work. The intricate cablework was a challenge, but not enough to keep me from planning another one soon. I love how this shawl turned out. The merino/cashmere/silk yarn is amazing to the touch. So soft! With a beautiful sheen that dresses up the natural state.
