Thistles and Bluebells cowl.

Thistles and bluebells, just in time for Spring. This beautiful Thistles and Bluebells cowl, hand knit in a lovely blue, teal and purple variegated silk and merino yarn adds a touch of warmth to your Springtime wardrobe. Pair it with your favorite top and blue jeans, or liven up a neutral business suit. Either way, you’ll love wearing this creation.

Notes on project:

I love making this cowl. It translates from the shawl pattern so easily that there really isn’t much thought involved. It also works well with a variegated yarn. I had some laceweight yarn that wasn’t queued for any pattern in particular and dyed it in a variegated colorway while making another gradient yarn using the unexhausted dye. Love the result. First time making a variegated colorway and it pooled wonderfully when doubled for this fingering weight pattern. Will definitely do this again.
