Scottish Thistles Merida shawl.

From pine green, to cream, to a beautiful purple gradient yarn, the colors only add to the drama of this beautiful Scottish Thistles “Merida” Shawl. Hand knit in a wonderfully soft, Blue-faced Leicester and silk yarn, this shawl drapes beautifully across your shoulders. The perfect accessory for any princess to wear.

Notes on project:

Really loved knitting this gradient yarn. The color changes happened so well with the pattern that it felt like it was just meant to be. I only wish my photographs did it justice. It’s a real struggle to list this one in the store, but I know I don’t ever wear green, and it would sit unseen in a drawer. I have so many pretty shawls that I can’t keep them all.

Color: Pine green to cream to purple gradient.
Size:  Measures 46″ from edge to edge on the neck selvage, 120″ across the bottom edge, 22″ deep.
Material: 55% Blue-faced Leicester, 45% Silk.
Gently hand wash – Lay flat or dry clean.

This shawl is for sale at my Needles ‘n Purls store
