This muted purple to a coppery red gradient  Harvest Maiden shawl reminds us of Autumn and its changing colors. The intricate lace-knit pattern and beadwork show off the bounty of this soft, merino and camel shawl yarn. Hello Autumn! Your colors are just divine this season!

Notes on Project

First time knitting with camel and I have to say, it’s very soft yarn. It’s a bit like alpaca with longish hairs interspersed throughout, and tends to trigger my allergies, just like alpaca. It does dye up some beautiful muted colors though and I can see why its loved by fiber artists. Second time knitting Forest Maiden shawl by Anna Victoria and for a smallish shawl, it sure packs a punch. I much prefer this smaller size, and if it didn’t make me sneeze, I’d keep it for myself. Very happy with how this turned out.

Color: Muted purples to coppery red gradient
Measures 58″ wide by 14″ long.
Material: 50% merino, 50% camel
Gently hand wash – Lay flat or dry clean. Wash separately, as darker colors may bleed.

This shawl is for sale at my Needles ‘n Purls store
