Where the Forest Meets the Sea shawl.

Wrapped in the warmth of Merino and silk, this lovely Where the Forest Meets the Sea shawl will renew your soul. Its bright, sea blue to fresh, emerald green gradient color and wavy lace stitches work together to create that special hideaway… where the forest meets the sea.

Notes on project

Love this shawl much more now that I’ve smoothed out the gradient. The pale aqua to light mint green was not as dramatic as I’d have liked so I decided to up its game. First time knitting Nim Teasdale’s Where the Forest Meets the Sea, and found it a rather soothing knit. Easy to keep track of while I streamed Netflix movies. Not too difficult for the inexperienced knitter and great results. The only modification I made was to do a crocheted bind off. I would definitely knit it again. I absolutely love Wollelfe yarn. So thick and squishy, even after blocking. I just wish they had a bit better quality control on their gradient dyeing. This is twice now that I’ve gotten streaks throughout and had to redye. I know, I know, I’m picky.
