Gothic Rose shawl.

Gorgeous colors shine from this Gothic Rose shawl, its beauty casts down upon all who wear it. This wonderfully soft, silky yarn is perfect for warmer weather wear and more durable than silk. Accented with sparkling glass beads, its bold colors and intricate design are sure to the grab the attention of all who pass by. Wear it with pride.

Notes on project:

Second time knitting this beautiful pattern and I loved every minute. Ok not every minute. Those long nupp rows were shear torture, but you take your time and soldier through them. Still the pattern kept my interest well and the yarn is just exquisite to knit with. I’m sad to say that VFA can’t get this beautiful base yarn any longer. Needless to say, it was well worth the effort and if I hadn’t already had a Rose of the North shawl in Natalie Stewart silk, and a Birdsong VFA shawl, I’d be keeping this one for myself. I love it!
