Aeolian cowl

I had some left over gradient teal yarn so I decided to find something I could make with it, since it’s such luxurious yarn. I decided since cowls seem to be popular this might just be the solution to my leftovers. This project was an experiment to see if I could take a lace shawl pattern and modify it to be a lace cowl.

A successful event, with a slight change when I make another. Seems that the increase to do the second chart shows oddly (not that you’d notice it when wearing), so I’ll just start with an even number of stems on this pattern in the beginning. I have a feeling there will be many more cowls in my future. This particular cowl is long enough to be worn as a hood if needed. Love that feature!

I offered this as a freebie to anyone who was interested on my Facebook page and was quickly taken, so I’m guessing these will be a big hit at the store.
