Luscious berry-colored gradients create this intricate Berry Brambles shawl. Hand-knit in the Jaali pattern, this shawl is reminiscent of ripe, summer berries growing on a garden trellis. Its super-soft Blue-faced Leicester wool and silk yarn blend give an elegant look to this shawl, making it perfect to pair with evening attire, or just wear it to dress up a pair of blue jeans. Either way, it’s a definite eye-catcher.
It doesn’t matter how many time I knit this pattern I’m always pleased with the results. This shawl looks so pretty that my photos hardly do it justice. I used up the the middle parts of my red-purple gradients from Moonlight Yarns, my most favorite yarn to work. I just have one more skein left in this color shift to go. Wonder what pattern I’ll choose as the final project in this color-shift batch.
