Lavender Tweed shawl

Lavender Tweed Juneberry Shawl.
Lavender Tweed Juneberry Shawl.

Cables and lace cover this Lavender Tweed Juneberry shawl in an Aran-lace This lovely shawl made of plushy Merino wool, Donegal Tweed and just enough nylon to help keep its shape. You’ll be cozy and warm in this heavier DK weight shawl; a must wear item on those cooler, spring days.

The Juneberry shawl pattern was an especially easy and fast knit. Even the added-on border seemed faster than the last time I knit a similar border pattern. I did make one small change to the pattern. I decided to knit Nupps instead of Bobbles. I just found it easier and better looking. My Bobbles were a bit pitiful looking, and the back and forth part of the stitch seemed more time-consuming. Maybe it’s because I’ve knit so many Nupps that they aren’t that difficult for me anymore, it’s hard to say. I just found it to be an easier option that ended up looking better. I would definitely knit this one up again. A very easy and relaxing knit.
