Here comes the Sun King. Hand-knit in a radiant sunbeam pattern, the Sun King shawl in majestic deep purple, shines. Made from the finest gossamer spun merino, silk and cashmere yarn this wispy-soft shawl captures the essence of luxuriance and makes its owner feel like royalty.

I wasn’t sure of the outcome of this Sun King shawl since I had problems making the numbers line up in the last chart. The pattern is meant to be a full circle shawl, and so the numbers aren’t evenly distributed to be split in half exactly. I had to work some magic to get the look I wanted, and I do like the end results. I didn’t make any notes as I won’t be knitting this shawl pattern again. It’s really needs to be full circle to get the best results. I have a slight amount of yarn left over that I’ll probably combine with the teal color that I made the Dragonfly shawl with to do a cowl of some sort. The yarn is too wonderful not to uses every inch.
