Cool, watery blues and lush greens blend together to create this refreshing Desert Oasis shawl. Hand-knit in beautiful merino and silk yarn, this shawl is the perfect accessory for any outfit. Wear it as a scarf to bring a bit of color to a neutral business suit, or as a shawl to decorate a summer sundress, either way, its versatility will make it your go-to accessory for summer.
I seriously love this pattern. Every time I knit it, I’m in awe at how beautiful it turns out. For such an easy pattern to knit, it has a dramatic outcome. Definitely worth the few cable-twist stitches it calls for. I’ve a feeling I’ll be making many more of these shawls in the years to come. I also love the cool color pallete of this yarn and how the colors pool in the pattern. And it’s so soft, it feels just like cotton candy. Good thing it’s not pink, or someone would try to eat it. 😉
