From its buttercup-yellow center to its cheerful pink floral edge, this Spring Bouquet shawl delivers springtime cheer any season of the year. Hand-knit in a sustainable, natural-fiber Tencel yarn, this shawl is the perfect wrap for warmer weather. It’s cool to the touch like cotton, but has the luxurious sheen of silk. Your flower garden awaits.
Notes on Project
I loved making this project. Doing the gradient dye was so much fun as the colors blended so easily together. The jury is still out on switching to all Tencel yarn as it doesn’t quite have the same feel as a good wool, but I can see the likability for warmer weather. The When Flowers Bloom pattern by Lily Go was just challenging enough to keep my interest, but I have to admit, the use of twisted stitches did get tiring after the first few charts. Still, it made for a stunning shawl in this gradient and I will probably do another one in the near future.
