Notes on the project
This shawl is absolutely stunning in person. I wish my camera captured green better, because this came out jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I knit the large size instead of going to the XL, because I wasn’t sure I’d have enough to do the lacy bits at the edge. I improvised a fleur-de-lis picot crochet cast off that I made up on the fly. It was just the pizzazz this shawl needed. The beads are #6 round jet black beads, and the pattern is Nim Teasdale’s Radiata. The yarn is the exquisite LuxXL Haunted Forest from Vivid Fiber Arts. A winning combination anytime!
