Hand-knit in a lovely Merino and silk gradient, this Secret Garden shawl is a reminder that tucked away safely under Autumn’s withered leaves, a secret garden is at rest, ready to awaken in the spring. This beautiful teal-to-brown gradient yarn is highlighted with shiny teal-colored beads, adding a touch of glimmer to the drab winter days. The perfect accessory to wrap around yourself while you wait for your secret garden to come alive.
Notes on project:
This pattern was very easy to knit. The double nupps were probably my most difficult area, and they weren’t that bad. I ran out of yarn before finishing, so I decided to adapt what I had and work with it. I think I love it even better. A little disappointed to not be able to do that fringe work, but I’m not sure I’d have liked it in the end. I didn’t want it to resemble it’s namesake. Pantala means lampshade in Spanish.
