Wrap yourself in the warmth of this Winter Wonderland shawl when the drab and dreary days of Winter leave you longing for Spring. Its cheerful blue-to-white-to-antique apricot gradient and dazzling bead work is bound to perk up your spirits. Hand-knit in a lovely Merino and silk yarn, this shawl is dreamy to wear. Try it on. You’ll never want to take it off.
Notes on project:
Very easy pattern to knit. I loved working with this yarn this time. It’s extremely soft and squishy so I didn’t want to put it down to knit on my other projects. The beads were fun. I cut back doing the beads on the mesh part and just added focal points and edging. I love the drop beads on the picot bind off. I’m becoming a big fan of the cube bead and the two colors work so well on this gradient yarn. Very happy with how everything turned out and I’d definitely knit this pattern again. I even love the antique apricot glow it has along the finished edge.
