This bonnie “Flowers of Scotland cowl” blooms with bright royal blue and a hint of Kelly green to create the feel of Scottish plaid. Hand-knit in a Scottish Thistles motif, this lovely Blue-faced Leicester and silk accessory will keep you warm on those cold Highland nights.
Notes on project:
I love how this Scottish Thistles shawl pattern by Anne-Lise Maigaard translates into a cowl. This is the fourth one I’ve knit and still love how it turns out. This time I used up some yarn I had left over from a couple of shawl projects and the combination of lace-weight yarns worked really well to create the look I was going for. Love how it turned out.
