Notes on Project
First time knitting with camel and I have to say, it’s very soft yarn. It’s a bit like alpaca with longish hairs interspersed throughout, and tends to trigger my allergies, just like alpaca. It does dye up some beautiful muted colors though and I can see why its loved by fiber artists. Second time knitting Forest Maiden shawl by Anna Victoria and for a smallish shawl, it sure packs a punch. I much prefer this smaller size, and if it didn’t make me sneeze, I’d keep it for myself. Very happy with how this turned out.
*Special thanks to Anna Victoria for creating such a lovely pattern (Forest Maiden).
