Notes on project:

This was a fun Music MAL project done in the Gorgeous Gradient Forums on Ravelry. We had to pick a favorite musical piece and knit an item to reflect our choice. I chose my all time favorite songs is from Fantasia, by the French composer Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (1937). Subtitled “Scherzo after a ballad by Goethe”, the piece was based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s 1797 poem of the same name. The pattern is Dancing Butterflies by Carfield Ma and the yarn is Red Hat Lady from Vivid Fiber Arts. I love the results.

*Special thanks to Carfield Ma (Dancing Butterflies Shawl) for creating such a lovely pattern and Vivid Fiber Arts for making such beautiful yarn to work with.
