Notes on project:
Second time knitting this beautiful pattern and I loved every minute. Ok not every minute. Those long nupp rows were shear torture, but you take your time and soldier through them. Still the pattern kept my interest well and the yarn is just exquisite to knit with. I’m sad to say that VFA can’t get this beautiful base yarn any longer. Needless to say, it was well worth the effort and if I hadn’t already had a Rose of the North shawl in Natalie Stewart silk, and a Birdsong VFA shawl, I’d be keeping this one for myself. I love it!
*Special thanks to Anne-Lise Maigaard (Rose of the North shawl) for creating such a wonderful pattern and Vivid Fiber Arts for making such beautiful yarn.
