On iridescent wings you flit through the evening light, summer almost over and this, your one last chance to spread your wings. This gorgeous Dragonfly Magic Shawl, is reminiscent of warm summer nights, magical dragonflies wings, and the fanciful fantasies that they both create. Hand-knit in beautiful Tencel yarn, this shawl has the sheen of silk, but the durability of cotton. Its vibrant lime green to bright turquoise blue gradient is a glorious sight. Wear it jeans, a summer dress, or an evening dress, but definitely wear it with panache!

Notes on Project
I just loved knitting this project. The pattern was so complex and interesting that it kept my attention throughout the whole project. I ran short of yarn for the last return row and bind off but luckily I had some undyed base yarn and dye to match. I pretty much hit the color spot on, which isn’t always a given. I’m just thrilled how this came out and am sorely tempted to keep it myself… except I just made one similar in the same colors. Oh well… can’t keep them all.
*Special thanks to Anne-Lise Maigaard (St. Olof shawl) for creating such a wonderful pattern and Mystic Yarns for making such beautiful yarn.
